Polyester composite twine strapping

Using polyester composite twine as an alternative to steel strapping is the latest development in polyester strapping technology. The breaking strain of composite twine is higher than that of our standard polyester twine.

Polyester composite twine is known as an alternative to steel strapping and is the latest development in polyester strapping technology. This twine is processed manually and consists of polyester threads glued together and provided with a polymer coating. The breaking strain of composite twine is higher than that of our standard polyester twine. Consequently, this twine is used when transporting goods which are prone to excessive strain, such as container loads.

Our polyester composite twine is supplied as standard in white with widths of 13mm, 16mm and 19mm. We have the 16mm with a core of 150mm in stock, and we can order other widths, too. This twine is resistant to UV radiation and chemicals.

Composite twine is joined together manually with metal buckles and can be tensioned using our AVT tensioner.
